Sadly, we lost Zena on 6-21-02 due to a ruptured uterine artery during labor. She was a wonderful horse and a good friend. We are heartbroken and miss her terribly. Thanks to our friends, Mike and Candy, for the rose bush in memory of Zena. It is a beautiful reminder of a beautiful horse.

The Little Prince was Karen's first horse. She fell in love with him while taking riding lessons at Raccoon Valley Horse Center in Des Moines, Iowa. "Dale" eventually moved with Karen to her backyard in Chesterland, Ohio. For many years, he was her best friend. The highlight of their show career was a first place trophy in Open Jumping at the Great Geauga County Fair Horse and Pony Show in 1982. He will never be forgotten.
