HALF LEASE PROGRAM

Some of our school horses are available for a "half lease" program. Leasing a horse provides an excellent way for potential horse owners to test out what it would be like to have a horse of their own. The horses are available to be used by their lessees on the days they are not used for lessons (3-4 days per week). This would include Saturdays and Sundays since we do not teach lessons on the weekends. Available horses may be seen on our School Horse page.

Prelude By Mozart & Resail Sally produced a darling colt born June 15 that is marked exactly like his daddy (hence the name "Replica"). His dam is an ATA approved Thoroughbred mare. This 16.2 1/2 hand mare has proven herself on the track and as a broodmare. Her pedigree traces back to Man O' War. Prelude is a fully approved Trakehner stallion by the legendary "Mozart". Not only is Replica marked just like Prelude, but he also inherited his beautiful head, breathtaking movement, and charming disposition. We can only hope he will follow in Prelude's hoofprints! Currently training on the lunge line and will be started under saddle this spring/summer. Price will increase with training. $6,000.

Devilnine is an 8 year old 17 hand Thoroughbred gelding affectionately known as "Pedro". He had a tremendous career on the track with many wins (over $200,000) and a second place finish in the Iowa Breeders' Derby where he was favored to win. Pedro is now enjoying a new career as a sporthorse. He is USEF Lifetime registered, has a wonderful disposition and always tries his hardest to please. He is very easy to work with, stands for the vet and farrier, and is up to date on shots and worming. Pedro has beautiful movement on the flat and is a talented jumper. He is in training for both dressage and jumping and will be shown in equitation as well. His price is subject to change as training and showing progress. PRICE REDUCED!

2005 15.3 hh Black APHA mare. "Emmy" is started under saddle and coming along very nicely. She will be shown at Hunter/Jumper schooling shows this summer and fall. A nice all-around, versatile mare.

Destiny is an 11 year old 16+ hh registered Buckskin Paint mare. Along with her junior rider, Destiny won 2 medals in the 2005 Iowa Games in Jumping. They've also won numerous ribbons at hunter/jumper schooling shows including First Place in the 3'3" Jumpers at the Valley Park "D" series show. In 2006, they won first place at the Saddle & Sirloin "B" rated Hunter/Jumper show in Kansas City and are the Midstates Jumper Champions for the second week of the Midstates "A" rated Hunter/Jumper show in Mason City, Iowa. She has been shown at Level 3 (3'6") and schooled over 4'3" in Jumpers and is also showing in Dressage at Training Level and is schooling First Level. Destiny is USEF Lifetime registered and will continue to be shown until sold.

"Rowan" is a 2000 registered Anglo-Trakehner gelding by Amethyst and out of Feudality xx. He was professionally started under saddle as a 3 year old. Rowan has a great work ethic. He has been shown at Training Level and has schooled over cross country jumps. He will continue to be shown in dressage until sold. Video and DVD available. Price reduced to $12,000.

13 hh black Medium Pony mare. She is registered with the American Quarter Pony Association and Pinto Registry. "Panda" is a beautiful mover and exhibits text book form over fences. She loves to jump and has automatic lead changes. She has a current Coggins and is up to date on shots, worming, and farrier work. This Medium Pony Hunter is being used as a lesson horse at Stopek Stables and will continue to be shown until sold! Panda is pictured above at her first show with Stopek Stables where she won Pony Hunters and won her hack class against horses in the 2' Hunter Division. She is also pictured easily clearing 3' at home. $10,000.

BROODMARES:

Affectionately called "Raven" after the bird shaped star on her forehead, this mare stands 16.2 1/2 hands high. She is a 1999 Iowa bred Jockey Club registered Thoroughbred and is approved by the American Trakehner Association. Her pedigree traces back to Man O' War and she, herself, was a winner on the track. She has a sweet disposition and is a beautiful mover. Raven would make a wonderful riding horse as well as a broodmare. She is easy to get in foal, foals easily, and is an excellent mother. According to the Trakehner Inspector, she has good saddle position, good depth of girth, and correct and straight legs. She scored an impressive "8" on her legs at her ATA Inspection. Raven produced an exceptional Oldenburg colt in 2005 named "Sebastian" and a handsome bay Trakehner colt by Prelude By Mozart in 2006 named "Replica" and a gorgeous filly by Prelude named "Rihanna" in 2008 (See "FOALS" page for pictures). Raven is confirmed in foal to Prelude for an April 2009 foal. This foal is eligible for the Official Stud Book of the American Trakehner Association and for the American Trakehner Futurity. She is for sale with a Live Foal Guarantee for $6,000. We will breed her back to Prelude for a 2010 foal.

This lovely chestnut filly with a star is by the imported legendary black and white pinto Dutch Warmblood stallion, Art Deco, who is listed in the Top 5 Dressage stallions by USAE. Art Deco has also produced top jumpers. He is approved Oldenburg/ISR, RPSI, Oldenburg Verband, AWS, IRC, PtHA & Canadian Warmblood. She is out of Silverweed (a.k.a. "Trinket"), our dark bay Thoroughbred mare who is a winner on the track with 26 starts over 4 years and winnings of over $26,000. Trinket is approved by the American Trakehner Association and is an ISR/Oldenburg Main Mare Book mare. Trinket's pedigree includes Bold Ruler on the top and Northern Dancer on the bottom. Amazing received a "8" for movement at her ISR/Oldenburg inspection and is registered and branded Oldenburg NA. She is FOR SALE.
